Human ROBO4, His Tag (RO4-H5224) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gln 28 - Glu 469 (Accession # AAI11563).
Predicted N-terminus: Gln 28
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 48.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 55-67 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

For best performance, we strongly recommend you to follow the reconstitution protocol provided in the CoA.
For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20°C or lower.
Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
No activity loss is observed after storage at:
- 4-8°C for 12 months in lyophilized state;
- -70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Human ROBO4, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
Roundabout homolog 4 (ROBO4) is also known as Magic roundabout (MRB) and ECSM4, which belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily or ROBO family. ROBO4 contains 2 fibronectin type-III domains and 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. ROBO4 is specifically expressed in endothelial cells and is also expressed at sites of angiogenesis in different tumor types. ROBO4 / MRB is the receptor for Slit proteins, at least for SLIT2, and seems to be involved in angiogenesis and vascular patterning. ROBO-4 may mediate the inhibition of primary endothelial cell migration by Slit proteins.
