SDS-PAGE
Prostatic Acid Phosphatase SDS-PAGE

Human Prostatic Acid Phosphatase Protein, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 90% (With Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker).

SEC-MALS
Prostatic Acid Phosphatase MALS images

The purity of Human Prostatic Acid Phosphatase Protein, His Tag (Cat. No. PRE-H52H3) is more than 90% and the molecular weight of this protein is around 85-105 kDa verified by SEC-MALS.

Bioactivity

Measured by its ability to cleave a substrate, p-Nitrophenyl phosphate (pNPP). The specific activity is >95,000 pmol/min/ug (QC tested).

  • Background
Tyrosine phosphatase that acts as a tumor suppressor of prostate cancer through dephosphorylation of ERBB2 and deactivation of MAPK-mediated signaling. In addition to its tyrosine phosphatase activity has ecto-5'-nucleotidase activity in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons. Generates adenosine from AMP which acts as a pain suppressor
