PCSK9, FH3, HCHOLA3, LDLCQ1, NARC1, PC9
Human PCSK9 Protein, C-terminal domain truncated, His Tag (PC9-H52H7) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gln 31 -His 449 (Accession # Q8NBP7-1).
Predicted N-terminus: Gln 31 & Ser 153

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 13.8 kDa & 33.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 15 kDa and 33 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. This protein variant lacks the C-terminal domain (CRD), which is essential for its LDLR binding and degradation functions.
Less than 0.01 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4 with trehalose as protectant.
