LAMP1 Background

Lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (LAMP1) is also known as CD107a (Cluster of Differentiation 107a). LAMP1 / CD107a belongs to the LAMP family. This glycoprotein provides selectins with carbohydrate ligands. It may also play a role in tumor cell metastasis. CD107a has also been shown to be a marker of degranulation on lymphocytes such as CD8+ and NK cells.

This was the first time working with ACRO products. The product was well packed and arrived very fast (even though I purchased it through VWR). I purchased two vials and so far we have seen no differences in the results, so I believe there are mostly no differences between batches. Biotinylation of this worked very well. I purchased these for an antibody phage display experiment and results have been promising. I will definitely use ACRO to purchase my proteins from now on.
