Product Details

  • Background

Recombinant Monoclonal Anti-GUCY2C Antibody, Rabbit (P1H7) is a GUCY2C primary antibody for IHC application.
GUCY2C binds the endogenous peptides guanylin and uroguanylin as well as the heat-stable E. coli enterotoxin. It converts those extracellular signals into cyclic GMP production and links ligand recognition to intracellular signaling at the plasma membrane and endoplasmic reticulum membrane. GUCY2C protein is expressed prominently in the gastrointestinal tract, with additional expression in the proximal digestive tract and renal system.
