Product Description
Cellectra™ Human CD34 NanoSort Microbeads, Research grade are dextran-coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles of which the surface is conjugated with recombinant monoclonal antibodies specific to human CD34 (Isotype: Mouse IgG1). They are especially designed for positive selection of CD34+ cells.
Cellectra™ Human CD34 NanoSort Microbeads, Research grade are produced under sterile manufacturing conditions (ISO 5), and no animal- or human-derived components are used throughout the production process. It is produced under our rigorous quality control system that includes a comprehensive set of tests including sterility and endotoxin tests.Application
Cellectra™ Human CD34 NanoSort Microbeads, Research grade, are designed for the positive selection of CD34⁺ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) from fresh or frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), bone marrow, or umbilical cord blood. CD34 is a transmembrane glycoprotein widely used as a marker for human HSPCs, and is mainly expressed on hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, vascular endothelial progenitor cells, and some mesenchymal stem cells. A subset of CD34⁺ cells enriched for hematopoietic stem cells possesses self-renewal and multilineage differentiation potential. Enriched CD34⁺ cells are key for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine. By enriching stem cells capable of reconstituting the blood and immune system, these microbeads help restore hematopoiesis after transplantation; the positive selection process also depletes T lymphocytes, reducing the risk of graft-versus-host disease, and provides high-quality cell material for basic research and clinical applications. The magnetic microbeads are conjugated with monoclonal antibodies targeting the human CD34 protein, enabling CD34⁺ cells to be labeled and subsequently separated using a magnetic separation column and separator.
