Source

Human CCL17, Fc Tag (CC7-H5256) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Ala 24 - Ser 94 (Accession # Q92583-1).

Predicted N-terminus: Ala 24

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 34.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 40-45 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Endotoxin

Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.

Purity

>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

>95% as determined by SEC-MALS.

Formulation

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 50 mM Tris, 100mM Gly, 25mM Arginine, 150mM NaCl, pH7.5 with trehalose as protectant.

Background

CCL17, a chemokine ligand for CCR4, predominantly secreted by dendritic cells and endothelial cells. It drives Th2 cell migration in allergic inflammation, atopic dermatitis, and asthma. Elevated serum CCL17 serves as a sensitive biomarker for disease activity in Hodgkin lymphoma and atopic diseases.
