This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 12.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 14 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Endotoxin
Less than 0.01 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.
Purity
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Formulation
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4 with trehalose as protectant.

The product was used to develop and benchmark in-solution binding kinetics of B-2-microglobulin with anti-B-2-microglobulin mAb. We received the product in lyophilized form with clear reconstitution instructions. It is appreciated that the product comes with detailed CoA listing all specific details needed like molecular weight, SDSPAGE data and buffer composition with clear information on additive components. This helped us properly label the protein and perform subsequent binding analysis using Flow Induced Dispersion Analysis (FIDA) for determination of in-solution binding kinetics (kon & koff) parameters.
