FAQ
- Product
Are there any studies showing that CEACAM6 and CEACAM8 can interact?
Yes. According to the reference “Diverse oligomeric states of CEACAM IgV domains” (PNAS), CEACAMs can form homophilic and/or heterophilic interactions (e.g., CEACAM6–CEACAM8, CEACAM5–CEACAM6). Structural studies of the CEACAM6–CEACAM8 heterodimer showed that the addition of CEACAM8 to CEACAM6 led to heterodimer formation, confirming their ability to bind each other.
