Recombinant Human Serpin H1 /HSP47 Protein (rhSerpin H1 / HSP47) Ala 19 - Leu 418 (Accession # NP_001226) was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293) at ACRObiosystems.
rhSerpin H1 / HSP47, fused with 6×His tag at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 45.3 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Ala 19. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 47 kDa due to glycosylation.
Less than 1.0 EU per μg of the rhSerpin H1 / HSP47 by the LAL method.
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose are added as protectants before lyophilization.

Serpin H1 is also known as SERPINH1, 47 kDa heat shock protein (HSP47), Collagen-binding protein (Colligin), Arsenic-transactivated protein 3 (AsTP3), which belongs to the serpin family. SERPINH1 binds specifically to collagen. SERPINH1 / HSP47 could be involved as a chaperone in the biosynthetic pathway of collagen.
