Expression analysis of human NAPI-IIb on HEK293/Human NAPI-IIb Stable Cell Line by FACS.
HEK293/Human NAPI-IIb Stable Cell Line or negative control cell was fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde followed by staining with PE-labeled anti-human NAPI-IIb antibody.

  • Background
NAPI-IIb, NaPi-2b, Npt2b, or SLC34A2 enables sodium:phosphate symporter activity. Acts upstream of or within in utero embryonic development and phosphate ion transport. Located in apical plasma membrane and brush border. Is expressed in several structures, including egg cylinder; genitourinary system; small intestine; and tooth. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis. Orthologous to human SLC34A2 (solute carrier family 34 member 2). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
